Collaborate
Meaningful work is rarely accomplished alone.
Progress begins when people committed to the same purpose choose to work together.
Throughout medicine, the most enduring advances have emerged through collaboration across disciplines, institutions, and generations.
Every meaningful partnership rests on a shared commitment to improving the lives of patients.

Shared purpose
Collaboration works best when it is guided by common values rather than convenience.
The work presented throughout this website reflects a continuing interest in research, education, innovation, quality improvement, and patient care.
My own collaborations tend to grow from a few shared interests: aortic and structural heart disease, surgical quality and outcomes, and translational or computational research. They often cross institutions in Europe and the United States.
These efforts remain open to thoughtful collaboration with others who share similar goals.
Opportunities to work together
Future collaborations may include:
- Clinical and translational research
- Quality improvement initiatives
- Scientific writing and academic projects
- Educational initiatives
- Invited lectures and academic discussions
- Mentorship and professional development
Each collaboration depends on conversation, mutual respect, and a common purpose.
An open invitation
Whether you are a clinician, researcher, educator, institution, or student, meaningful work often begins with a single conversation.
If you believe our work could contribute to a shared purpose, I would be pleased to hear from you.
Closing
Medicine advances because people choose to learn from one another.
If our work can contribute, even in a small way, to better outcomes and longer, healthier lives for patients, then it is work worth doing.
